Double Exposures 4

This time I tried to implement the same grey scale that I used in the last set, while trying to listen to peoples comments and improve my pictures.

Double Exposures 3

For this draft I chose to change my work a bit. I made all my photos black and white then added gray so they looked more like Andre de Freita's work.

Double Exposures 2

For my second draft of double exposures I tried to focus on capturing emotion and blending the picture with nature. I also tried to make an even number of color and black and white pictures.

Double Exposures

These pictures are based off of the pictures of the portrait photographer Andre de Freitas. I focused on his double exposure pictures and combined portraits with images of nature and some landscapes.

Richard Avedon

For this weeks assignment, we took portraits of people while mimicking the style of Richard Avedon. Each portrait had to be in front of a blank canvass, with no props, costumes, or special lighting. The goal for each picture was to get the model to display emotion in their eyes.

Symmetry, Asymmetry, and Balance

For this assignment we had to find symmetry, asymmetry, and balance in the world. For symmetry we had to take pictures of things that, if they were folded in half at the center, would be the exact same in each side. Our asymmetric pictures had to be unequal and feature no symmetry. Our balance pictures had to feature symmetry in the background something dynamic in the foreground. Below is an assortment of symmetry, asymmetric, and balance pictures.
