Collage

For this assignment we had to make collages of our past year of work. We made one collage of vertical pictures, one collage of horizontal pictures, and one collage of our spring series.

Spring Series 3

For this series I continued to edit more pictures of silhouettes. I used different textures and silhouettes for this batch.

Spring Series

For this assignment I expanded on my previous photo set and incorporated new silhouettes and new textures.

Combo Series

For this series I took silhouettes and used double exposure to put different textures in the silhouettes.  I only have a few because the editing process is long and there wasn't enough time to make 6 pictures.

Group Photo 2

 Jessie's photos have a nostalgic vibe to them so I tried to capture that in this photo.

 Joel normally takes pictures of interesting textures so that led me to take this picture of him with a texture as a background.

  Laurence's pictures are mostly people so I took this black and white picture of him.

I tried to emulate Sam's style by making a double exposure picture of him.

  Aidan takes architectural pictures so I took this picture of him with some leading lines and buildings in the background.

Charlie's pictures are very edited and surreal, so I made this picture of hi, very surreal as well.

I tried to take this picture in the style of street photography. Giv's photos are black and white so I made the picture black and white also.

Group Project

For this assignment we had to take pictures of some of the people in our class and try to imitate their picture taking style.

For the picture above I imitated a still life style, with a blank background and with a subject as the focus of the picture.

For this picture I took a black and white portrait in front of a blank wall.

For this picture I tried to capture a warm feel to the picture and I included a view of the street to imitate Kaeli's style.

For the picture above I tried to capture a view of the street in a clear and sunny way.

For this picture I made sure to include the street to try to use Ramona's style.

For the picture above I played around with double exposure to try to capture Simon's style.

Series 4

In this series I took more pictures of still lives. I used a simple black background in each photo with different objects.
